THE 2022 HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE FOR DOG LOVERS

‘Tis the season, dog lovers!

I remember one year when my sister gave me a custom hand painted ornament with my dog Hannah painted on the ornament. It looked JUST like her. That ornament is one of my favorite treasures to this day. Finding the perfect gift for your dog and dog-obsessed friends and family can be tricky. But it’s so worth it to see their huge smile when they unwrap that pawsome present!

If you’re on the hunt for dog-riffic gifts, look no further. You’re sure to find something outrageously fun, quirky, adorable or practical for the dog-loving people and dogs in your life below.

#1 - Personalized Throw Pillow

Who wouldn’t love a custom throw pillow of their beloved dog? I have a friend who recently lost her beloved pup of 10 years. She also really loves decorating with pillows. I can only imagine how much it would mean to her to decorate with that pillow of Sadie. Scroll through your friend’s social media feed to find the perfect photo of their pet to use for the pillow design.

#2 - A Gift For The Escape Artist

Check out this super helpful GPS tracking tag. My beagle Hannah has been known to act innocent around slightly open doors, until we least suspect anything. That’s when she makes a run for it! She’s gotten out 3 times this way.

Or if your friend has an iPhone and uses AirTags, check out this collar AirTag holder. Keep in mind that some trackers require a monthly subscription.

#3 - Breed Finder

Not sure about the dog’s breed? Try a Dog DNA Test. Many dogs, especially rescues, are a mix of lots of breeds. My pup is a mixed breed from a shelter. We think she’s part Beagle and Pointer. But we aren’t positive and would love to know! The DNA test would be great to give insight into health risks, personality traits and it would just be fun to know!

#4 -A Gift That Gives back

What dog lover wouldn’t love a gift that helps more dogs? Conscious Step unique socks save dogs.  Each sale supports the nonprofit Best Friends Animal Society. I’d love to have this because I always count on getting new socks at the holidays right when the one’s from last year are wearing out. What could be better than getting socks that I know are helping make a difference in the lives of animals!

#5 - One-Of-A-Kind Dog Art

Imagine if you received a custom professional photograph of your dog and family. (Just like the example I gave when my sister got me a custom painted ornament.) Here at Beloved Pet Photo, I specialize in capturing those one of a kind moments and turning them into a beautiful masterpiece. Pet art makes a difference because it’s personal, custom and meaningful. For your pet obsessed friend or family member consider either getting them a Gift Card for a session. Or, book a Limited Edition Session this fall and surprise your family with a meaningful piece of art for the holidays.
