FROZEN TUNA OR SALMON TREAT FOR CATS

I love cooking for my dog. When I had a cat I also loved cooking for him! For me, knowing the ingredients in my pets food is just as important as knowing the ingredients in mine. So, when I make food for me I also make food for them. And they usually aren’t too upset by that either ;-)

I just posted a frozen treat for dogs. I didn’t want to leave out our feline friends. So, here is a frozen treat for our kitties to enjoy too!

First Gather The Ingredients

  • 1 Can Tuna of Salmon Packed in Water

  • 1/2c Water

Then, Start Making Your Treats

  1. Mash up undrained tuna in a bowl.

  2. Put the tuna into a magic bullet, blender or food processor

  3. Add water

  4. Blend until nice and smooth

  5. Pour evenly into ice tray or silicone molds. (To make this easier you can put the mix in a ziploc bag, then cut the corner so there is an opening and squeeze it into the molds. This is less messy and a little easier than trying to spoon or pour it into the molds.)

  6. Put them in the freezer for at least 24 hours

  7. Remove treats from the molds and let your cat enjoy!
